    STA 2250 Statistics

    Credit Hours: 3

    An interdisciplinary first course in statistics which introduces students to the statistical methods available for the examination and analysis of data. Topics include descriptive, probabilities, and inferential statistics. Inferential statistics include hypothesis testing and confidence intervals for one, two, and multi sample/populations. All sections require a scientific calculator; some sections require the use of computer software.

    Prerequisites:

    • MTH 1010 (Minimum Grade of D, May not be taken concurrently) OR
    • MTH 1040 (Minimum Grade of D, May not be taken concurrently) OR
    • MTH 1110 to MTH 1120 (Minimum Grade of D, May be taken concurrently) OR
    • MTH 1400 (Minimum Grade of D, May be taken concurrently) OR
    • MTH 1410 (Minimum Grade of D, May be taken concurrently)
