Students have the option of individualized student work in Addition Studies under the guidance of a faculty member. The Independent Study course is intended to pursue topics that are not currently offered through regular coursework at the University of Detroit Mercy. The purpose of the independent study is to allow an advanced student the opportunity to add desired depth or breadth to his/her formal degree program. To participate in an independent study, the student must identify a faculty member willing to sponsor his/her project and gain the approval of the department director. |
